The type and firmness of a mattress is up to the individual. As the average person will spend about one third of
their life sleeping, they demand a good mattress. When going to buy a mattress, many will look at consumer reports
mattresses and determine usually from those reports which is a good mattress to invest in.
Consumer reports mattresses; go to great lengths in giving full, researched information and passes it on to the
consumer. They will conduct meticulous research such as couples testing certain mattresses at home. They will
conduct interviews with the mattress manufacturers and even visit the mattress stores. They will also go online and
send out polls to potential buyers of mattresses.
There is an old adage that the harder or firmer the mattress, the better it is for you and your back. Not so
anymore. Consumer reports mattresses will tell you that are no longer true. Buying a medium firmness mattress,
innerspring is best; will ease a lot of the back pain so many suffer from. Consumers that tried the hard mattress
usually dropped out of the trail because they were hurting too much.
The consumer reports mattresses will say the innerspring hard mattresses are no good for most people; it is not
clear as to whether the newer mattresses are any better. Some mattress manufactures will swear up and down their
mattress is best and it is scientifically proven to have many benefits while others do not. Consumers; in regards
to the select comfort sleep number mattress has eased some of the back pain. Some of the tests were only compared
with the mattress the consumer already had.
They only rely on the self reported scores for the pain and sleep factors. It was not clear whether either
mattress was better for the consumers’ back.
Consumer reports mattresses realize that buying a mattress is no fun and can be quite daunting. Many will
compare shopping and that alone can wear a person out. When asked over seventeen thousand people online, consumer
reports mattresses came up with a lot of different opinions. Forty one percent said they would buy the same type of
mattress they now have; sixteen percent said they would pick another mattress type. Many stated that any kind or
type of a new mattress is better than the old one they have.
One survey that the consumer reports mattresses conducted was with the Tempur-Pedic and Select Comfort and the
consumers sided with these as the best. Many that have back problems or have sleep problems said they felt a great
difference. Stearns and foster and the Spring Air was their least favorite because it seemed to aggravate their
problems.

is. There are just too many sales of fifty percent off to do that. Thirty six percent of the buyers said they
